How this sts2 tier list works
Every number here comes from real runs, not from a writer's opinion: 241,098 runs on v0.111.0 uploaded by players through Spire Codex. Characters are ranked by how often their runs end in a win. Cards are ranked within each character by the win rate of runs that picked them, with a smaller weight on how often players pick them when offered, so a card that only shows up in already-winning decks cannot top the list on its own.
FAQ
What is the best character in Slay the Spire 2?
Silent: 32.2% of runs won on v0.111.0, against an average of 30.3% for all five. Defect wins least (26.6%). The gap between characters is small; your card picks matter far more.
Where does this data come from?
From 241,098 real runs uploaded by players through the Spire Codex mod and overlay (spire-codex.com), filtered to the latest patch, v0.111.0. It is a large but self-selected sample: players who install a stats mod tend to be experienced.
How often is the tier list updated?
Every day. When Mega Crit ships a new patch, the stats switch to runs on that version as soon as there are enough of them. Patch details are on the Slay the Spire 2 patch notes page.
